I was so blessed to have Carl & Eileen as my neighbors. They "adopted" me after my parents both passed away. Carl was always looking out for me, helping me to cut my grass, shovel my driveway, trimming my bushes and trees, taking in my garbage cans, etc. It was so nice to come home from work and see him sitting outside, and we shared stories about our days, our families and our lives.
I truly enjoyed all of his stories about his family, growing up and working in his Dad's tavern and bowling alley, his job as a mailman, his tavern that he owned, etc. He always cheered me up and made me smile.He became like a father to me and a very dear friend. I can never express how much he touched my life. He was truly my angel. I will miss him dearly.
