Harmon, Beverly Jane(nee Kemp) Passed away on October 5, 2015 at the age of 90 years. Beverly was born on May 3, 1925 in Rochester, New York, the second child of Forrest Stickney Kemp and Anna Louise Kemp (nee Klees). Beverly graduated from high school in Rochester and then graduated from the University of Maine, Orono with a major in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry. She then attended Medical Technology training in Lewistown, ME and obtained her Med Tech license. 

While at the university, Beverly met James Prescott Harmon and they were married on September 11, 1948. They had six children: Cheryl (Dave) Shiffer, Bolingbrook, IL; Cynthia (Dan) McGuire, Prior Lake, MN; Nancy (Marlin) Stinson, Green Bay, WI; Laurie (Keith) Vraa, Cloudcroft, NM;  Douglas Harmon, Lake Geneva, WI and Mary Sue Harmon. 

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband James and her daughter, Mary Sue. Beverly leaves five children, thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who will deeply miss Beverly’s humor and wit. 

Beverly was a Mayflower descendant and was related to Priscilla Mullins and Capt. Miles Standish. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9 at the FUNERAL HOME from 10AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM. Interment will be at Sunnyside Cemetery in the family plot next to her husband James and her daughter Mary Sue.
