(nee Koenig) of Thiensville. Surrounded by her “boys” Karen peacefully passed from this life into her Eternal Reward in Heaven on Tuesday, September 29  2015 at the age of 71 years. Beloved wife, best friend and traveling partner for 47 years of Thomas R. Daub. Loving and devoted mother of Mark Thomas and Rev. James Matthew (Megan) Daub. Daughter-in-law of Dorothy Clark. Sister-in-law of Jayne (Leo) Rockenstein. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Marcella Koenig, her brother Richard “Bus” Koenig and her aunt and uncle Lorraine and Martin Delling.

Friends may greet the family from 4 – 7:15 PM on Friday, October 2, 2015 at BEAUTIFUL SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH; 11313 North Riverland Road in Mequon with Funeral Services at 7:30 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church would be deeply appreciated.

Karen was retired from the Westgate Medical Clinic where she worked for over 42 years.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Dr. George Lange, Dr.Ranveer Nand, Dr. Marc Rasansky, Dr. Ali Sadeghi, Dr. Dale Bauwens, and the staffs of Sarah Chudnow Campus, the Med/Surg units 3 North & 3 South and the ICU of Columbia-St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee for their kind and compassionate care of Karen.

Karen fought the good fight and kept the faith.
