All of his married life, they enjoyed traveling with their children on vacations and weekends to all the states and Canada in their Airstream travel trailer. He was proud to serve as former President of the Wally Byam Travel Club, Wisconsin Unit. They have always treasured the memories of these trips as the high point in their lives. After retiring, he and Willy settled in LaBelle, FL and enjoyed a wonderful retirement making more cherished friends. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved the outdoors. Bob was known as “Mr. Fix-it” and enjoyed fixing anything that was broken. He worked 2 days a week at the local Ace Hardware in LaBelle and took great pride in helping other retirees with their problems. They returned to Wisconsin in 2009 to be closer to family and chose the friendly town of Germantown to live out their retirement.
