Mr Rader was my computer programming teacher at EDHS in the mid 1980s. I've had a great career in computing and have the best memories from his instruction. He was a passionate and intelligent role model. Best to his family and friends who keep him in thought.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Al's family. He was a great teacher and friend.

1975-1976, Mr. Rader was my Math Analysis teacher at EDHS. He was extremely passionate in his presentations to the class as evidenced by his fast pace back and forth across the room and overzealous use of the blackboard. It was entertaining to me, and others.

He ALWAYS kept us late, and my typing teacher, Mrs. Poma, was not amused.

I last saw Mr. Rader at my wife's Senior Prom in 1978. I remember how happy he was to see me and discuss our lives. I was very touched.

My sincerest condolences to Mr. Rader's family. I am very grateful for the dedication how gave to his teaching profession.

May God Grace By With His Family.

My heartfelt sympathies are sent to the entire family. I worked with Al at EDHS and saw him frequently teasing my friend Alice Mualem. He was knowledgeable and funny. He will be missed by many who knew him.

He took his job seriously and truly cared about his students' success. He was the best math teacher and throughout my college life I often thought of him. I had Mr.Rader for Applied Trig in 1992 at EDHS. RIP Mr. Rader. My thoughts are with the family.
