My condolences to the family.
I didn't know Thorin well, only from several trips years ago on the Iowa Terminal Railroad with the Iowa NRHS on former CNS&M 727, and occasionally meeting at train shows.
He always seemed, friendly, informative and upbeat.
He will be missed by many in the railfan community.

OUR CONDOLENCES TO MARTY'S FAMILY. WE ENJOYED VISITING WITH HIM AT TRAIN EVENTS AND BY EMAIL. HE ALWAYS HAD TIME TO EXPLAIN THINGS HE HAD DONE OR WAS WORKING ON AND WAS TRULY A GIFTED MAN WHEN IT CAME TO THE ITEMS HE CREATED. HE ALSO WAS A GOOD FRIEND IN MANY WAYS AND WILL BE MISSED.

Sorry for the loss of a good friend!! Wishing I could be there tomorrow but I'm unable to get away from work as Doug is gone!

My best to you Catherine and your girls! Feel free to stop by anytime!!

God Bless!

Because Phyllis has been keeping me posted on Thorin, my prayers have been with you, as they are now at this difficult time. If you know Christ, you will find comfort in Him. For He is our hope and salvation. Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Because Him, Tammy Kuepper
