Curt told me of Rob's passing. I only met him a couple of times, but left a lasting impression with his hospitality and gentleness. Great picture!

Dear Heckel Family,
I have been thinking of you so often these last few weeks and especially yesterday as you celebrated Mr. Heckel's life at his funeral service. He was an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know him. Love and prayers to all of you.

A tremendous guy and always was great to see around the neighborhood. He was one of the most welcoming people I ever knew growing up. God bless you all.

Dearest Moo and Family- what a hard loss of such a beautiful being/beam! What a treasure to know him and watch the grace with which he lived and thrived with whatever came his way. I am so grateful to know even just the little bit I did. A great, great man and a wonderful friend to my big brother Mike. Love and prayers to you all. And big Bethie hugs! xoxox Beth and David

Dear Mary Ellen and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you upon hearing the passing of Rob. He fought the good fight but has won the battle with his new life in the Kingdom. It is during this Easter season we are nudged to believe that Rob's "life is simply changed not ended." I hope that strengthens you during this difficult time. I hold you in prayer.

In the Risen Christ,
Fr. Marv Knighton
