Guskey, Mary S. (nee McGuire, formerly Kelly) (8/7/1932 - 4/12/2015) passed peacefully at the age of 82. Loving mother of Colleen (Jim Bricco) Kelly, Patrick Kelly, Kathleen (Steve) Stein, Rose (Robert) Keane, Thomas Kelly (Lance Walters) and Joseph Kelly. Stepmother of Suzanne (Peter) Michel, Steve (Tiffany) Guskey and the late Robert Guskey. Proud grandmother of Megan, Michael, Caitlin, Daniel, Thomas, Bobby, Jacquie and Robert, as well as six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank, and her brothers Patrick and Michael McGuire. Further survived by many friends and relatives.

Mary graduated from Holy Angels Academy in 1950. After graduating from Prospect Hall Secretarial School, she continued on to Nursing School in Evanston, IL. She lived in Japan, briefly, after the Korean War. After  starting a family, she finally settled at the Milwaukee Journal. She was there for 22 years as a high speed typist, proofreader, and in house fashionista.

Mary was an avid reader and played the piano beautifully. She was very active and had many interests. An astute political observer with a strong social consciousness, she was always willing to debate politics and discuss current events.

She took great joy in entertaining family and friends, making every occasion fun and memorable. Mary will be remembered for her wit and humor, unconditional love, and kindness. She was a great inspiration to all who had the fortune of knowing her.

Visitation will be Friday, April 17, 2015 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, N88 W17658 Christman Rd. in Menomonee Falls, from 11am until Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at Noon.
