Burant, Esther Rose age 92, was born April 1, 1922 and died March 2, 2015. Preceded in death by her husband Eugene (1984), son Brian (2011) (Bette McCaulley), parents Bert and Walerya (née Sankey) Somers, and 7 siblings. Survived by son Christopher (Vernisher) and daughter Constance (Robert Wilson); grandchildren Eric, Anna, and Tess Burant, Rio Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Raised on a dairy/potato farm in Amherst WI in a Polish Catholic community, she was a master homemaker, excellent cook, and professional seamstress. She was a devoted sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Esther's calm, capable, and humble demeanor endeared her to all who who knew her. Christmases were especially merry because of her well loved cookies! Service will be held at ST.EUGENE CONGREGATION,7600 N. Port Washington Rd. Fox Point on Monday, March 9, with viewing at 9:30am Mass at 11:00am, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, and a lunch to celebrate her life.
