Barnard, Patricia (Smaal) Passed away unexpectedly in Savannah, Georgia on Wednesday February 25, 2015 at the age of 62. Cherished wife and the guiding light of Christopher Barnard for 40 years. Loving mother, best friend and an unbreakable rock of support to Michele.  Her adoration of her family and her devotion to make her daughter what she is today was her lifelong mission.  She was known for her personal sacrifice, passion, fairness, beauty, and for being a truly wonderful human being and a lifelong companion.  She volunteered her time at the St. Hyacinth’s Food Pantry once a week and was passionate about giving back to the community.She is also survived by Eben Pindyck (Michele’s husband). Dear sister of Esther (the late Rudy) DeWitt, Paul (Elizabeth) Smaal, Hendrick Richardus (Vania) Smaal, Ernst (Lisete) Smaal and Juan Carlos Smaal. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation Tuesday March 3 at the FUNERAL HOME from 4:00-7:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM and Wednesday from 10:00-10:45 AM at LUMEN CHRISTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2700 W. Mequon Rd. (corner N. Range Line Rd.) Mequon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Procession to Resurrection Cemetery for committal prayers and interment to follow. After interment, there will be a reception at 1:00 at LUMEN CHRISTI CATHOLIC CHURCH to celebrate her life.
