Of Lake Geneva, formerly of East Troy was born into eternal life on November 24, 2014 at the age of 83.  Loving father of Kathleen (Dennis) Rich and Lynn (Nancy) Miller. Step-father of Jerry (Kim Krabbe) Brandemuehl, Jim Brandemuehl, Michelle (Erik Gauger) Brandemuehl.  Proud grandfather of Chelsea, Carissa, Caitlin, Brittany, Jessica, Tiffany, Ian, Rob, Javier, Jessica, Carl, Sara, Kyle, Jackie, and Tara.  Great-grandfather of 12. 

Delbert was preceded in death by his wife Marlene, his daughter Dianne Lange, his sister Janice Page and his brother Richard Miller.  Del was a proud member of the National Guard. He was an avid saxophone player and enjoyed playing swing music. Del always enjoyed coaching softball and baseball. He was a past President of Kiwanis. Del was self employed for most of his life but proudly held the title of “Emeritus” with Lennox. Del enjoyed his time spent with family, especially over the holidays, and the many parties that Marlene and Del hosted. 

A Visitation will be held on Friday December 5, 2014, at the Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the time of Memorial Service at 12:00 Noon.  He will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Iola, Kansas at a later date.
