Steitz, Elinor

Of Milwaukee. Found peace on Friday, November 21, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife for 65 years to the late LeRoy Steitz. Loving mother to Craig (Jennifer) Steitz and Jill (Jim) Storm. Adored grandma (Da) of Roy (Caitlin Ventura), Frankie, Alex, Molly, Jacob and the late Andrew. Further survived by other relatives and friends. 

Elinor graduated from Marquette University in the School of Journalism. She worked at the Fox Company until she and LeRoy married. 

 Elinor was a woman of many talents. She was a tailor and a homemaker. She lovingly took care of her grandchildren from the time they were born and she was a best friend to her daughter. She will be dearly missed. 

Friends may greet the family on Friday, November 28 from 10:00 AM to the time of the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon at ST. MARGARET MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3950 North 92hd Street in Milwaukee. Procession to Holy Cross Cemetery for entombment to follow.
