Of Wauwatosa.  Found peace amidst a continual presence of family and love while on her journey and in the days preceding her death on Tuesday, October 28, 2014.  Age 79.   Loving mother of Dave (Carol), Chris (Ron) Peters , Dan (Barb), Carrie (Greg) Konle and Mike (Beth).  Proud Nana of Kevin (Nikki) Peters, Nicki (Kevin) Klepp, Christopher Konle, Alicia (Rob) Norris, Betsy Konle, Max, Logan  and Rex Schmitt; and great-grandchildren, Alex Peters and Maddy Klepp.  Further survived by her former husband, Richard Schmitt, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Loretta Fiedler and her brother, Donald Fiedler.   

There will be a gathering on Saturday, November 8 from 10:00am until Time of Celebration of Marlene’s Life at 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Froedtert Hospital Foundation, 9200 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Wauwatosa, WI 53226.  

Marlene retired from Marquette Electronics as a child care professional with 17 years of service.  Special thanks to Cherie Russo along with the physicians and medical staff at Froedtert Hospital, Oak Park Place and Horizon Home Care and Hospice for their compassion and care.
