Brue, Don

Age 82, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.  Although he suffered from dementia, it was his weak heart that finally took him.  No doubt he will be making a stop at Doggie Heaven on his way to join those that have gone before him.Don was Joan’s (nee Francis) best friend and partner in all things. He was a loving father to Dawn (Steve) Bardele, Mark (Lisa), Mike (Wendi), Bob (the late Ann), and Kathy (John) Tennessen.  He is further survived by his grandchildren, Rachel & Ryan Bardele, Matt & Mike Tennessen, Evan, Abby, Logan & Brodi Brue. 

Don was a long-time iron worker with Local Union #8. His good humor, kindness, knowledge, generosity and loving spirit will be missed by all that loved him.  May he rest in peace. 

Visitation will be on Friday, October 24 from 3:30PM until time of Memorial Service at 7PM at the FUNERAL HOME. A special thanks to all the gals from Cedar Hospice who took such exceptional care of Don in his last days.
