Hackbarth, Hildagard

(nee Wiebeck) passed away peacefully on October 12, 2014 at the age of 98.  She was born January 19, 1916 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Wiebeck.  Hildagard went to Messmer High School in Milwaukee.  She married Ronald "Ro" Hackbarth on November 21, 1936 and moved to Oconomowoc in 1946.  She worked at Chucks Supper Club (now Burkes Lakeside) as a waitress for 18 years, then moved to Iron River where she was part owner at the Red Motel for about 20 years, then went to Arizona and spent about 3 years there, and then came back to Oshkosh where she spent the rest of her time suffering from dementia and alzheimers.

Hilda is survived by her sons Ronald (Nancy) Hackbarth and Robert (Ginny) Hackbarth, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald "Ro" Hackbath, her daughter Suzanne, and a great-grandson Brady.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16 from 10:00 AM until the time of Service at 12:00 NOON at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church W359 N8512 Brown St. Oconomowoc.  Burial to follow at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
