Went home to the Lord on September 25, 2014 at the age of 66 years.  Beloved husband of Phyllis for 45 years.  Loving father of Nicole (Nicholas) Thiel and Bradley Schmid.  Special grandpa of Elyse and Leland.  Dear brother of Sharon (Arlin) Kittel, Emily (David) Schwartzman, James (Sue) Schmid and the late Jeanette Erdmann.  Brother-in-law William Erdmann.  Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Visitation on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 10025 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa from 1 PM until the time of Memorial Service at 3 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated.
