Mark A. Evenson age 69, Passed away on September 19, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. His final days were spent in his home being cared for by his devoted wife and family. He was an extreme sports enthusiast. Loving golf, bowling, fishing and if he wasn't actively playing one of those, then he was watching them on TV. He loved watching his favorite teams, the Brewers, Packers or Badgers. He will be remembered by all his family and many friends for his great sense of humor and infectious laugh. He was very proud of his 300 game bowled at Hartland Bowl, and his hole in one which he shot at Paganica Golf Course, his home away from home. Mark worked at Walgreens as a Store Manager in the Oconomowoc store, and celebrated a total of 37 years with Walgreens. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 31 years, Barbara L. in 2004. They were long time residents of WI. Also preceded in death by his brothers Ole J. ("OJ") Evenson in 2002. Mark is survived by four children, Tami (daughter) & Michael Giovinazzo of Texas, Debbie Cendejas (daughter) of California, Don Mabry (son) & Lisa Marie of California, and Brad Evenson (son) & Jenny of Hales Corners, WI. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, his sister Mary Hahn of Germantown, WI. brother Ted Evenson of Muskego, WI., sister-in-law Sharon Evenson of West Allis, WI. and many nieces and nephews. He remarried in Setember of 2008 to Peggy Germinaro Zvers, and added four more stepchildren, Mitzi (Germinaro) & Paul Doolen of Milwaukee, WI., Keli (Germinaro) & Kevin McKenna of Germantown, WI., Rob Germinaro & Kelsey of MN, and Jim Germinaro of MN. The marriage also added ten more grandchildren. Friends may visit on Friday September 26, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm all at St. Jerome Catholic Church (995 S. Silver Lake St. Oconomowoc, WI. 53066). Funeral Mass will follow immediately after visitation at 6:30 pm. Memorials to Froedtert Cancer Research Center.
