Of Wauwatosa.  Died peacefully at home on September 1, 2014 at the age of 103.  Beloved husband of the late Loretta “Retz” (nee Gangelhoff).  Preceded in death by his son Bill.  Loving father of Betty Heater.  Father-in-law of Karen Engholdt.  Grandpa to Eric (Krista), Brian and Kevin Engholdt, Jennifer Otto and Rich (Lisa) Heater.  Great grandpa of Cody, Tyler, Kaelan, Sydney, Dylan, Lillie and Sienna. 

Visitation on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Funeral Home from 11 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 12 Noon.  Burial to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. 

Dick was a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Signal Corp during WWII after his graduating from UW Madison in Engineering, where he was a member of the Triangle Fraternity.  He was vice president and chief engineer at Erie Mfg. Co and retired in 1981.  Dick had lots of time to enjoy golfing, bowling and traveling.
