Patrick was an Air force Veteran and retiree from the Federal Government. In retirement he enjoyed fixing anything he could get his hands on. He loved to tinker. Pat was always willing to help his family, from fixing cars, plumbing, and electrical to remodeling cottages and fixing toys. He was our MacGyver and our Superman. Patrick always had encouraging words and sound advice when you needed it; he was our rock, confidant and especially our friend. Pat was a Green Bay Packer and above all a Wisconsin Badger fan.  He loved spending time with his family in the North Woods; swimming, kayaking and lighting fireworks for all of us to enjoy.  He especially loved spending time with Marianne in Florida, shopping, sitting on the lanai and just enjoying each other’s company.  He loved all things Irish. He truly enjoyed Irish Fest, it was his favorite event every year and he could not have been more proud of his Irish dancing Granddaughter Caitlin. He never missed an opportunity to see her dance. We will never forget your smile. You will be greatly missed everyday by all of your family and friends. We will always remember your courage, strength, wisdom and advice.

We cannot thank Marianne Peterson enough for her care of Patrick; your love, care and grace will never be forgotten. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Kathryn A. Bylow, Kaylinn Miller and the Froedtert Cancer Center staff for their kind and gentle care.  Special thanks to Katie, Dr. Wilson and the Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice for their compassionate care of Patrick in his last days.
