I didn't know what a godmother was, but I was glad for an extra reason to have the loving attention of the woman I knew as Aunt Greg.

What I especially loved about her was her ability to be serious and wise when that was called for, and yet her full-hearted affection that always seemed accompanied by that great laugh.

She will be missed. Her beautiful broad face and smile sticks with me, and that will have to be enough. (Well, at least she left me Julie who carries the best of her mother with her, along with plenty of her own strengths!)
