Chermak, Fred F., of Colgate, entered into Eternal Life on Monday, August 11, 2014 at the age of 88 years. Loving husband of the late Helen (nee Carrington) for 58 years. Loving dad of Paul (Dolores), Frederick (Sunee), Jane (Dale) Downer, and Julie Stadney. He was preceded in death by twin daughters Nancy and Pat. Proud grandpa of 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Dear brother of the late Marie McRae. Further survived by other relatives and friends.  

Fred was a member of the VFW, DAV, and Ex-POW Barbed Wire Chapter.  

Visitation for Fred will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church (1200 St. Gabriel Way, Hubertus) from 11:30 AM until time of the Memorial Mass to be celebrated at 1 PM.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Cancer Care Center at Community Memorial Hospital.
