Marie O. Miller, 65, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 with her family by her side after a year-long battle with brain cancer.  Marie was born in Bloomer on October 28, 1948, the daughter of Gilbert and Gwendolyn Hartman.  She graduated from Bloomer High School in 1966 and went on to earn her degree in nursing from St. Francis School of Nursing in La Crosse.  She worked 43 years as a health care professional, first as a Registered Nurse at Community Memorial Hospital and then as a Clinical Nurse Supervisor at Medical Associates in Menomonee Falls, WI retiring in December 2012.  Marie married Dennis Miller on October 11, 1969 in Bloomer WI. She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis; son, Chad (Laura) and their children Nathan and Elyse of Tucson, AZ; son, Kyle (Rachel) of Milwaukee, WI, and daughter, Jenny Miller of Menomonee Falls; her brothers; Dave (Chris), Appleton; Don (Barb),Mt. Horeb; Denny (Nora), Madison and sister, Sue (Kevin) Jones, Oak Creek.  Her aunt, Judy (Don) Goettl of Chippewa Falls; Step-mother, Phyllis Hartman of Bloomer; step-sister, Julie (Tim) Millin, Tomah and step-brother, Chuck (Maureen) Hawkinson, Tucson, AZ, nieces and nephews and many friends. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Gwen Hartman, niece, Andrea Hartman and her grandparents, Herman and Lillian Hartman. Visitation will be held, Wednesday, April 16 at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 2 PM until the funeral service at 4 PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Froedtert-Hospital Foundation-Clinical Cancer Research Fund.
