Harvey A.Rupnow age 85 of Oconomowoc passed away May 21,2013 at Shorehaven Health Center. Beloved husband of Doris nee Wegner. Loving father of Lu Ann Rupnow, Randy (Suzanne) Rupnow and Melody (Tom) Augustin. Dear grandfather of Rachel,Sierra and Zachary Rupnow. Also survived by other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers and two sisters. Harvey was born February 29,1928 in Ixonia to Herman and Marie (nee Raasch) Rupnow. He married Doris Wegner June 20,1954 at Cross Lutheran Church in Ixonia. Harvey was a 41 year employee of Carnation Co. in Oconomowoc. He served as an Oconomowoc Alderman (District One) from 1958 to 1992. He was a member of all the City's Boards and Commissions during those years. He served as Chairman of the Board at Lake Country Credit Union ( now Landmark Credit Union) from 1971 to 1983. He was treasurer at St.Paul's Lutheran Church from 1959 to 1960 and was on the Board of Directors of the Oconomowoc Cemetery Association 1994-2012. He was a graduate of Northwestern Prep School in Watertown class of 1946 and served in the US Army from 1950-1952. Harvey was a life long member of St.Paul's Lutheran Church where his ancestors were charter members. Friends may visit Sunday May 26th from 2:00 pm until time of services at 4:00 pm at St.Paul's Lutheran Church 210 Pleasant St.Oconomowoc. Final rest LaBelle Cemetery.
