Young, Sally M. 

It is with saddened hearts that we must say goodbye to Sally M. Young (Hintz), age 66.  She was a loving wife, great mom, grandma, and friend.  She passed away Tuesday August 21, at Season's Hospice in Waukesha, after battling stroke, kidney disease, and COPD. 

Born June 21, 1946 in Milwaukee, to Lloyd and Margaret Hintz (Jones).  Graduated Pulaski HS in 1964, and then attended classes at MATC for nursing.  Sally retired from St. Luke's Hospital in 2007, after 28 years.  Following her retirement, she and her husband, Lee, purchased a home in Troy Center, WI, were they enjoyed the quiet life.  Sally was an avid reader, and loved to watch football, fishing, and gardening. 

Survivors include her husband, Lee J. Young, daughter, Sandra (David) Magerowski of Fall Creek, son, Thomas J. Johnson of Arcadia, grandchildren, Adrienne, Michael, Sara, Heather, & Trevor, step-sons James & Michael Young of Troy Center, sister, Mary (Arthur) LaPine of Grafton, brother, James Hintz of Mukwonago, and many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents & step-father, son, James L. Johnson in 1994, brother Frank Hintz in 1978, & brother-in-law Arthur LaPine in 2010. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in memory of Sally.
