Dear Nelson/Swan Families, I can't tell you how sad I was to hear of Nancy's passing. To her children: I have known your mom since junior high & in high school we sat next to each other in choir. Nancy & I were in the high school musicals together, madrigals, swing choir and I will never forget looking across the stage to see her beautiful smile. I even have a picture of the two of us on stage in Brigadoon. It is a cherished memory. I really enjoyed singing with your mom. She had such a musical gift. After high school I went to hear her sing whenever I could until I moved away. The last time I saw her was at our 20 year class reunion and she sang for all of us once again. Your mom could really belt out a song, as I'm sure you know. No doubt she is singing in heaven's angel choir by now. I will never forget her. I have so many fun memories of Nancy. I know she will be missed by many. I am so sorry your family and the world has lost such a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this very difficult time. I pray that you may draw strength and comfort from family and friends and in knowing how many people loved Nancy.

Dear Mary and family, I am deeply saddened by the loss of your daughter and sister. When I heard about her transition the first memory I had was her beautiful smile, the unforgetable Nelson eyes, that could light up any room, and her love for song. That was over 40 years ago, yet it seems like yesterday. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. With love and sympathy, Archie

Dear Jimmy, Mr Swan, & family; Kurt & I were so sorry & sad to hear of the loss of your beloved mom & wife. Although we never had the pleasure to meet Nancy, you did tell us of her occasional fondness for Nutella & her talent as an artist. Just knowing you, Jimmy, & your outgoing, friendly, & caring personality says much about her as a mother & mentor. Our deepest condolences & prayers are with you all. Sincerely, Khris & Kurt Durocher

Mary,
I can't tell you how sad I am to hear about Nancy. I remember her as that little girl across the street. So tiny, and so adorably cute. My prayers and thoughts are with you and all your family.

Dear Pete and family, I am so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. My last memories of Nancy were from my Halloween party as she danced lively dressed as a hippee. I was so glad that the two of you came and have such fond memories from that night. Your family and the Nelsons are in our prayers during this difficult time.
