Timothy Thomas Stein
December 12, 1955 - April 5, 2024

Born December 12th, 1955, born to eternal life April 5th, 2024 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Tim was a man of faith, strength, honor, compassion, dignity, honesty, humility, humor, and most importantly, love. Anyone lucky enough to know Tim felt each of these qualities in their own unique relationship with him. A loving and devoted husband to his love, Kathleen (Kate) Radaj-Stein. Together with Kate, his greatest sense of love, joy and pride came from his cherished, beautiful children, Andrew and Anna Nicole, he was their biggest champion! Preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Anna (Sewell) Stein, his brothers Frederick and Stephen (Skip). Survived by his siblings Stuart (Jean), Christopher (Ann), Nancy (Jay) and Nadine. Brother-in-law (but truly a brother) to Patty (Joel), Jeanne (Gregg), Laura (Steve), Maureen (Sid) and David (Tracy). Tim had very special relationships with his cousins, nieces, nephews, friends that became family, wonderful friends and colleagues too numerous to name.

Timothy grew up in Cedarburg, Wisconsin involved in his church and school where he developed a strong faith and left his mark on the high school wrestling team and drum and bugle corps as a gifted trumpet player.

After his family, Tim’s two biggest passions were hospitality and service. He spent the majority of his career in the private club industry and as part of the CMAA Wisconsin Badger Chapter. His employment varied from assistant club manager through general manager. Longest tenure at the University Club of Milwaukee. His success came from the joy he found making any member feel unique and special by remembering names, special occasions and family stories. Accompanied by his desire to create a special event or dining experience enhanced by his extensive knowledge of wine. Tim lived his faith through service by volunteering for countless charities, including a favorite the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation: Food and Wine Experience. He established the Wisconsin Club Managers Foundation which gave Tim a great sense of fulfillment and pride by raising funds for education and advancement of chapter members/hospitality industry students and a variety of charities including Camp Hope.

Tim enjoyed playing tennis, golf and cribbage, bowling, cheering on WI sports, reading the business journal, attending family celebrations, spending time in the north woods or Gulf Coast, trips to a variety of wine producing regions, sharing a meal and toasting with an outstanding glass of wine. Cheers to you Tim for a life well lived!

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ King Catholic Parish, Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation or via Venmo @MAC-Partners to establish a philanthropic foundation in Tim‘s name.
