He coached his sons’ soccer and basketball teams, and never missed attending their sporting events. In recent years, he spent hours and hours cheering for his grandchildren at their sporting events. He also enjoyed watching Badger football and basketball, as well as the Green Bay Packers.

Dick and Margaret enjoyed traveling the U.S., taking numerous cruises, exploring Caribbean Islands, Mexico, and Europe. He could always be found “tinkering” in his workshop or garage. Dick had a passion for woodworking. From building cub scout pinewood derby cars to custom-crafted wooden toys for his grandchildren. Friends and family in need of help for home improvements projects, knew they could rely on Dick for a helping hand. He also enjoyed working on cars, doing all his own repairs, and he gladly passed along this knowledge to his sons and grandsons.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the ProHealth Home Health Care team for their support that allowed Dick to remain in the comfort of his own home.
