Thomas A. Kaupp
September 7, 1960 - November 30, 2016

Thomas Anthony Kaupp, 56 years of age, was raised into the loving arms of our Lord on November 30, 2016, at his home in Hubertus, surrounded by members of his loving family. He was also welcomed into Heaven by his father, Karl (Bud), father-in-law, John Wittak, and brother-in-law Tim Hetzel.

Tom remains the loving husband and best friend to his wife Peggy, whom he married in 1985, and the adored and cherished father to his children Katelyn, Chris (CT), Grace, and Mary. He is the beloved son of Dorlene (Dolly) Kaupp and loving brother to Kathie Hetzel and Lynn Kaupp. Tom is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members, and dear friends.

Tom attended St. Nicholas Grade School and graduated from Dominican High School in 1978.  He graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 1982 with a degree in marketing. In October 1983, Tom founded Image Makers Advertising. The agency, which recently celebrated 33 years in business, has grown from an original staff of one to 16 at its historical building in Waukesha, with clients throughout the Midwest. Tom was also a member of the board of directors of Badger Mutual Insurance. In 1993, Tom was recognized with the UW-Milwaukee Graduate of the Last Decade award. Beloved boss and mentor, marketing professional, and civic leader, Tom was well respected by many.

As a devoted father, he started and coached the TOPSoccer program in Sussex for children with special needs. Sports were so important to Tom and his children that he also coached their various basketball, volleyball, and softball teams.

Tom was a big fan of the Packers, and, in his spare time, he traveled all over the country with his son, Chris, to watch their games. He enjoyed vacations with his family, golfing with friends, time in Door County, and keeping his lawn looking meticulous. He is loved by so, so many.
