Richard "Rich" Hehn
November 21, 1949 - October 15, 2016

Passed away peacefully on October 15, 2016 at the age of 66. Survived by his wife Joanne Tlachac-Hehn; sisters Lola (Dick) Scherff and Lynn (Bill) Scott and stepbrothers Charlie, Mark and Thomas Ollmann. Rich will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Rich retired from the City of Brookfield Highway Department but established a career of volunteering. He was proud to have served in Vietnam as a Seabee. He was a member of CBMU 302 Seabees and a dedicated member of the honor guard at VFW Post 5716. Rich co-chaired the Air Rifle Show at the Sports Show and was a long time member of the Daniel Boone Conservation League. He was a chairperson for the Fishing Clinic for Kids and former treasurer of Great Lakes Sport Fishermen. Rich also volunteered for Western New Mexico Aviation Heritage Museum. He did presentations of “Roy Little Story” about his cousin’s airplane accident in WWII. Rich was an avid hunter, fisherman, longtime member of WI BMW Motorcycle Club and just loved being with people. Words cannot express the profound influence he had on people with his nonjudgmental love. We will all miss his good humor and bear hugs.

A Visitation will be held on Friday October 21, 2016, at the FUNERAL HOME, from 4 PM until 6:45 PM with Funeral Service at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to AngelsGrace Hospice, N74 W35908 Servants Way Oconomowoc WI 53066, would be greatly appreciated.
