Dear Family
I was looking through my memoirs and found a Christmas Card Judy had designed for me. I was a Camp Kiniya camper and she was my adored, marvelous, talented, favorite, counselor. There was a special day when a counselor could be a camper and vice verus. She surprised me and I was so proud to pretend to be her. I loved her and we lost contact. I can see she was active and appreciated for all she was able to do for the Arts. After seeing the Christmas card again, I put her name into the Web and cry to see she is no longer with you/us. I am so very, very sorry. Thank you for posting her picture. She did not change. She is still the lovely, loving happy Judy.
Again, my heart aches.
Sincerely,
Toni

Dear Mr. Berndt, Carol, Lisa and Jenny, As your long-time baby-sitter and neighbor on Whitney Road, I fondly remember your wife and Mom. I remember most how she loved to sing and enjoyed music in so many ways. I still see in my mind's eye your living room filled with a piano, pump organ, a wind up music box, and lots of sheet music. I am saddened at hearing that she has passed on to sing with the the heavenly hosts, but I know that she can now sing pain and suffering free. May you know the peace that comes from our risen Savior who greeted Judy with open arms. With deepest sympathy, Joyce
