Of Elgin, IL, Passed away suddenly of a pulmonary embolism on Monday, July 26, 2010 at the age of 56 years. Roark was born on September 6, 1954, the loving son of Daniel and the late Diane (nee Weber) Sennott. He is survived by his sisters, Pegeen LaRosa, Judene Sennott and Colleen Sennott, brothers Todd (Carol), Colin (Cathy) and Sean (Bridget). Further survived by other relatives. Roark “Uncle Buck” to the children, was also well loved by his extended family of close friends, and they too will miss him.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 30th 4:00 – 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 31st at 10:00 AM, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4825 N. Wildwood Ave. corner of E. Hampton Rd., in Whitefish Bay. Private inurnment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Roark’s name may be directed to a charity of your choice.
After starting and selling his own “hose” business, Roark worked for Motion Industries.
