Hackenberg, Emily D. Former longtime resident of Shorewood, age 94, passed away Sat. Aug. 2, 2008 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg. She was born in Milwaukee on April 10, 1914 to the late Joseph and Anna (Nee Prekop) Hackenberg. She received special recognition from Trico Manufacturing for her 50 years of service, retiring in 1983. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Pat (Jerry) Gilbert, Barb (Ron) Weir, Nancy (Santo) Sturino, Sue Bobusch, Lynn (Jack) Klein, Nora Hackenberg, John (Diane) Hackenberg, Robert Hackenberg, great nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her sister, Mary (Emil) Bobusch, brother, Joseph (Marguerite) Hackenberg and sister, Ann Hackenberg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday August 8 at 10:30 AM at HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 4825 N. Wildwood Ave., Whitefish Bay. Visitation Fri. from 9:30 AM until time of Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials to Holy Family Congregation or the American Heart Association / American Stroke Association appreciated.
